AREA ON AGING AGENCY

Special Projects Assistant

The High Country Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is seeking to hire a Special Projects Assistant. This full-time, temporary position will assist the Director, Family Caregiver Support & Health Promotion Specialist, and Compliance Officer with related services in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This position will primarily assist with the Family Caregiver Support Program and specifically focus on supporting grandparents raising grandchildren. Other duties may include assisting with implementation and coordination of other aging related projects, such as addressing social isolation and/ or providing health promotion. The desired candidate has a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, is highly organized, able to multi-task, communicates well verbally and in writing, and quickly learns and navigates new computer software programs.
